This sucker is on there super tight. I didn’t have enough leverage so I got out the big adjustable wrench and put a pipe over the chain whip handle. Result is a snapped chain whip. Anyone got ideas on how to non destructively remove the sprocket?

Douse it in something like liquid wrench. I had one that also destroyed a chain whip and that helped quite a bit.
Put your chain whip back together and try an impact on the cassette tool, I’ve gotten cassettes that wouldn’t budge with a 3 foot wrench off that way. The ugga dugga’s shake it loose.
I replaced the chain with a longer one. When the chain wraps around a larger cog it creates more leverage and less stress on the chain.
Chain whips are a scam. They don’t work unless they cost a fortune, and even then they’re garbage.
Take an old length of chain and tie it to the chain stay with as many wraps of parachute cord as you can fit inside two links. If the chain stay is carbon, perhaps set it up in a vice and tie your length of chain to that. The parachute cord is much stronger than your fingers and the old length of spare chain will probably be stronger than the garbage they use on chain whips.
combination of two things in here: get that whip on a larger cog and use an impact driver. the impulse works better at breaking things loose compared to pure torque.
