bikernaut on March 8, 2025 7:02 pm Bearings shot in your hub. I had this. Freewheeling was sticky. Chain would go slack and shifting was all messed up. Didn’t sound like that, but mechanic said the bearings fail all the time.

Your hub probably needs to be serviced and has gummed up. And from the looks of the bike, the whole thing probably needs to be serviced.
