The frame is for 27.5 wheels, which was written in big decals on it. However, I noticed them after slapping my 29 inch wheels on.
Manitou Markhor fork taken from the previously deceased bike. The tube is too short for the new frame, so I had to use an extender. With a bit of surgery and mixing various bits of various headsets, it works perfectly.
Satori Noir handlebars, because I find the sweep really comfortable. I turned them upside down so I could fit the bike into the elevator, and they’re even more comfortable. Also, I have to get rid of the barends, because they don’t work with that much of a sweep.
DIY bar tape, made of punctured leather leftovers from when I reupholstered a friend’s car roof.
Saccon DH54 hydraulic brakes. Made in Italy by a company specialized in making agricultural machines. They are extremely well built, especially given that they cost less than a pair of Shimano BR MT 200. I’ve been using them for about 3 years with no problems.
MicroShift Advent 9 speed group set, paired with a Motosuv oval chainring with 38 teeth.
