Reposting with picture – pentaclip at 118g, but it should be 94g according to specs and others. What is going on with this pentaclip?! It is the version that is compatible with oval rails and came on a brand new P-line. The scale is right and has been checked. Weight excluding the bolt is 95g.
No need for comments such as go for a pee. I know this in isolation makes no difference. I am building a lightweight sub-9kg Brompton and just noticed this when taking the bike apart. I am not using it as I have replaced the seat post with a carbon one that has an integrated clamp.
I’m just keen to figure out what is going on and if Brompton has changed the design.

I mean, it sounds like the published weight of the pentaclip doesn’t include the bolt?
