Went on a normal ride with my gary fisher and my puppy in the basket, left in ambulance. A week later i got a cool titanium plate with some screws! Can’t wait to get back on the bike!
I feel your pain, looks just like my x-ray after I tried to fly like Superman off a motorcycle.

I like your optimism. “First”… of many? Here’s to the future!

Looks like my first break! The most pain I’d suffered in my life to that point. Hope you heal quickly and completely.

Eddie Merckx would congradulate you for riding hard. I don’t see a reason to disagree.

Glad to hear you took the hit and not the puppy

Did that last October. Broken into a bunch of pieces and out of alignment. I ended up with nine screws and a plate. Mostly healed but still feels a little funky with random pain every now and then. Reach is maybe around 90-95% of where it was before.
Hope you have a speedy recovery.

I’ve broken at least three collarbones.. Thankfully I’ve never broken mine.

Mine was my left pinkie, after an Endo on my first bike with front brakes.
I started mountain bike racing after my first break was mostly healed. Riding on the road and bike path were too dangerous for me. Too many people and bunnies…
I did recover from the psychological trauma eventually, but I still don’t trust bunnies.
Hope the fluffball will still ride with you. Heal quickly.
