  1. Hey Julie, great ride out, it did look cold tho! I like that you'd tamed your hair, so no need for the bad hair-o-meter, and instead you had the comedy thermometer..nice touch. Could I ask what gps you use for these rides? Ive been thinking about investing in one for over a year now, but still haven't a clue which one would be best for me. How come you don't ring your bell anymore, when riding towards the camera? I remember you used to, and this ride for some reason made me notice its absence!πŸ˜‚ Anyway, great post as always, you're putting us all to shame with your winter miles. Take care Julie, and a nod to the editor!πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘

  2. Hi Julie, these trails are right on my doorstep – very lucky.

An absolute mudfest at the moment but in spring/summer, such a pleasure to ride on 😊

  3. Super video , we have 3 old put sites here in St Helens which have been landscaped that can be linked by bridleways and a bit of road it's not a official route but it's lots of fun . Looking forward to the next video

  4. Great video, I'm surprised you didn't see me flying along bent double like a lunatic on a plastic bike with electronic gears, "training" for all the racing I DON'T do 🀣, As I both metaphorically and kind of literally live on these trails, (my house backs onto one at the Skegby/Teversal end). I can do almost 100km without ever getting more than 20km from my house and hardly touching any tarmac, if I take in all the parks (most of which have challenging little climbs). It's been a while since I got up to the Creswell end, though.
It's shocking how few people even know about them, yet everyone knows about High Peak, which apart from the climb at the start is kind of flat, boring and exposed to annoying crosswinds.

  5. What a brilliant video Julie. I live not to far from Silver Hill trail and love biking along there. I haven’t been biking much lately but want to start building my fitness up again, this ride will be perfect to train for, thank you πŸ™

  6. Just found your channel and you’re riding past my house! I live in a pit village just outside Mansfield. Been looking for some inspiration to get out on my bike again so will charge up my old wahoo and put this one in.
