I am tempted to get one, just to make hacking fun. I wish e-ink screens were even cheaper. I want to put one on a wall.

The app looks good, good job. Something I am wondering however is does the device operating rely on STRMNL’s servers running? I don’t like the idea of buying a product that will just become useless if its parent company goes down.
EDIT: Ah, I see the device’s firmware is open source – cool!
