  1. Bring it to your local bike shop that does rear shock and fork service. Dropper posts are like suspension so they should know what to do

  2. The silver ring is a spring retainer. You can unclip that first and slide it then post. At this point the rubber may just push back in.

    If not, the collar of the dropper unscrews. Should be a case of just gripping tight and unscrewing counter clockwise. Once the collar is off you can separate the rubber easily then push them back together evenly.

    Once the rubber is back in position, screw tue collar back down and put the silver spring ring back in place.
