Isn't it great to travel behind a loco. TfW's first class meals service is of high quality too. However my sole experience to date was tainted as the host asked me to pay twice just in case the initial payment didn't go through. He told me payment has not gone through and if i was charged twice then i could claim the overpayment back as his line manager knew about the problem. The latter comment might indicate that my experience wasn't unique. So, having paid twice with each payment taken I sought repayment of the overpayment. Not straightforward as the host as claimed! Onerous, intrusive and time consuming indeed. It took six weeks and four detailed emails to obtain, all of which took valuable time and effort. Of course had i been able to initially pay by cash as I had preferred, requested and offered this issue would not have arisen. Unfortunately, this sorry saga overwhelmed what was otherwise a wonderful railway experience. TfW …… must do better.

Thanks for the video G, can't beat a good porridge had some tonight after going out for a walk.Love being behind a locomotive its more alive with the sounds. The first class looked pretty impressive too.I think barista is a more intense oat milky lovely as a latte!!😎🚈🚈🚈🚈🇬🇧💚
