Will cheap cranks work?

I'm looking to convert my 1 piece cranks to 3 piece. I'm on a budget and want to spend as little as possible (can't afford $150 cranks right now 🙂 My question is, will something like the Stay Strong Crest Cranks work? I mean, will they self destruct right away or will they last me a bit? Will they survive basic tricks and dirt jumps? I know I will also have to get an american bottom bracket conversion too. Any expertise is appreciated! 🙂
