This was a painfully stupid edit. But the bike turned out GREAT! What a fun project! Thanks so much for following along!

  1. Nice bike! Love that you made it 100% your way 👍 This build felt like all the minutia that I go through on a build, but you know “way more better” than I do 😀 It purdy!

  2. I’m a big fan of the velo orange bottle cages that you put on the underside of the down tube. I haven’t had one break or eject a bottle. They are a simple and elegant design

  3. Yes enjoyed ALL the vids. Personally, I would find a variable speed reciprocating saw for cuts like the fenders and racks. I stated my cuts by hand then finished with the saw. 'Tis a pretty bike and the fenders DO make it, although my peer pressure was the cool kids took them, racks and reflectors OFF the second their parent's back was turned. I'll czech the merch and see if there are any TradeMarked BikeFarmer DorkDiscs. You have made a believer out of me. Hey where is the DorkDisc on the Palomino???

  4. I struggle to put quick release wheels on a bike while it's right side up. I am so used to doing it upside down and letting gravity help seat it.

  5. Been building a similar bike for the last few yearss… Got it sorted – and was stolen right out of my lounge. The started from scratch… :-/ Its now in V2 and about to go V2.5 this week hopefuly – so its great seeing the trials and tribulations of what I am busy dealing with – bloody knuckles and all.

  6. did you have that Waterford for sale at the Chicago winter bike swap? also, whats the model of the kickstand you got? i feel i need that for my commuter bike that can get heavy with work gear.

  7. Thanks Andy. Really enjoy that 1991 Trek series of videos. Youtube is forcing politic related video (what ever side) so much it’a hard to relax. Makes me want to delete the app… but this kind of clips you are doing keep me from doing it and help me forget the crazy times we are living. Working on bikes in my garage is also one of the few things that keeps me from stressing out. Cheers from north of the border🤙🇨🇦
