Original plan was just new cables and wider bars. Then I found a rusty ol dirt jumper in a rubbish pile at work with these 130mm Marzocchi Bombers. Little scratchy on the lowers but not a mark on the stanchions.
I know thats way too much travel for this frame but I’ll see how it goes, if I can find the right parts to switch to 100mm without bankrupting myself I probably will – I’m probably not going to be doing any gnarly riding on this I wouldn’t ride on my rigids. I’ve got another build for that.
Original drivetrain which still needs setting up, couldn’t find the noodle for my front brake, could do with new jockey wheels but it’s almost there. Got the bars and stem cheap.
Still need some knobbier tyres too.

The paint job is sweet! I trashed a Timberline frame like that but it was black/blue flames.
And the travel is fine, yolo!
