Can you post anything that you have ever transported on one of those pizza rack things? Or is it all for show? Thinking about getting one after seeing a lot them on some nice klunkers
Bungee cords are ok but I like to use an old tube with a caribiner on the end. I actually delivered pizza for years that way on a cetma rack and later on an origin 8 cargo clasique (it’s a cetma rack knock off but way lighter). Now I’m using the specialized pizza rack on my gravel bike and it’s awesome. You can attach paniers on the sides and it has the large platform top.

Pizzas, a 4-man tent (plus a pannier either side, 24-can cube of Coca Cola, 48 toilet rolls.
I don’t have pictures, but I use mine every time I get takeout in a flat container. And every time I get groceries. I have the Specialized pizza rack. The Delta bungee net is really handy with any pizza rack. It’s what I use most of the time, but sometimes I still need big bungee cords.
No pics to share but I use my pizza rack to hold a wine box full of groceries when I overbuy at Trader Joes. My panniers are large but I don’t always estimate their volume quite right.
Dude what the hell u/electrical_place_94 ? That’s literally my bike I just posted on this exact subreddit barely 24 hours ago. You seriously not going to give me any credit or even mention you found it on this subreddit? Honestly feels creepy and dishonest.
Also, I’m pretty sure you’re a bot, as you’re posting in 10 different subreddits, sometimes only minutes apart with the most random shit
You can zip tie milk crate to the rack. Anything that fit in crate you can carry!
Put a cargo net over it to be safe, so you don’t loose your cargo over the bumps

I once bought a pair of big floor speakers and strapped them to one of those.

A log I happened by to become a new splitting block.
I chuck a big bag of shopping on the front regularly and just bungee it to the bars. Great for big packs of bog rolls too

The load weighed more than the bike. Super sketchy, I would call it “unrideable” except that I did make it home and didn’t damage the cargo.
24 cans of Guinness. Bike wasn’t easy to turn.

I literally built my bike to tow my boys trailer and take us all to the donut shop around the corner, and come home with a box of donuts on the front.
That was the entire bike build haha.

Made by me!
They can indeed carry a lot. I still prefer to split the load front and rear in panniers, though. For me, it balances better.

LOL
I put a half basket on mine and mostly transport beer.
Six pack, camping chairs, soft tacklebox, cocktail in a stainless tumbler, burritos, bag of ice, that’s what I can remember off the top of my head
Don’t have a pic, but I’ve carried an 8’ Christmas tree (do not recommend), Costco-sized boxes of diapers and wipes, several bags of groceries…

I have a Cetma 7-rail rack from maybe 15 years ago. I think they only make 5-rail racks now.
Pelago, the old t-shirt is to keep it from scratching lol

E-bike, not X-bike, so… cheating. But answers the question: “what can be carried on a pizza rack”.
