No dude that’s not bad that at all, but you do want to clean and lube it and do more frequent maintenance. The other thing is called a sprocket and it looks fine.

It does not look that bad. First thing you should do is to check with a tool if the chain is worn out or not. If it is still good then put chain lube on the inside of every bead, clean the excess lube with a towel and leave for a day
