I posted about this before but i couldn’t add pictures so here we go again. I have an Italian city bike with a whats called “regina” or “Italian” valve i cant figure out what kind of pump i should buy for this or should i just replace the inner tube with a presta one (although im not sure if i can accomplish that myself as i lack tools). Thoughts and tips?

The valve diameter is the same as presta. So a presta headed pump will work. The trick is to get the cap back on quickly after removing the pump so you don’t lose too much air.
Tires made of 100% pure alligator
Similar as the dunlop valve, it’s originally a competitor of the presta valve mechanism. All three need the same pump.
However you should still invest in a set of tire levers because :
– Regina valves are notoriously difficult because they lose air while you’re screwing the cap back on. You might want to upgrade to presta, which your rim will accommodate.
– you need to change your tire, it is dry rotted very badly. This usually means it will wear very fast and have terrible grip, but here it looks bad enough to compromise the casing quickly and cause a blowout
They still sell those Italian valve tubes in Italy. They are like the presta valve in size, mixed with the Schrader valve in tech.
