Hello everyone a few months ago I got into skateboarding and I'm enjoying it so far and the thought crossed my mind about getting into bmxing I've come across these two on marketplace for pretty cheap (£40 or less) and I'm wondering if either would be a half decent way to see if it's something I'll enjoy.

One is a haro i can't find much about it online or even what type it is. Description says there's a leak on the rear.

The other is a blank icon from like 2010? Description says the chain has a tight spot and not sure what that means.

The chain has a tight spot because they didn’t have the right spacer when they tried to change the sprocket or something along those lines and now the sprocket isn’t completely centered up, not a difficult fix but you kinda need to know what you’re doing. Either way they will both get you on two wheels, haro is more reputable but imo they don’t look as “cool and sporty” as some of the other brands especially an old, likely base model one like this. I’ve never heard of the other brand and I literally hate the customization they’ve done to it (flipping the stem, having only front brakes for some god forsaken reason, etc) but the color is pretty cool and it’ll get you going. It looks a little less beat than the haro as well but definitely has some rust and I cannot stand rust.

I know I was kinda all over the place, personally I would get the blue one just to have a blank frame to go off of and if you’re into it start upgrading parts.

I’d be more inclined to get the 2nd of the two although the stem (bit that holds the handlebars to the fork) is upside down. “Tight spot” means the chainring isn’t running even through it’s rotation so the chain will be tight for part of the crank rotation.
