Have you tried using the thru axle(assuming it is thru axle)?

Requires a massive Allen key. Somewhere between a 10mm and a 13mm depending. I usually clamp the Allen key in a vise, put the wheel onto it (freehub side down) and use the wheel like a giant steering wheel to loosen it. You will be “turning the bus to the left” to loosen.

to clarify, you are trying to remove the free*hub* from the hub. a *freewheel* is something you will find on a different type of hub. that difference is worth knowing when you ask about it to avoid confusion.

Need more information on the hub/wheelset. If it’s a DT Swiss hub, you should be able to just pull it off…
