Hi. I want to buy used Trek bike but it has problem with shifting gears. It doesn't want to go into the lowest crank gears. Now i assume that owned already tried to adjust screws and that does not work. Can you see if anything is bent? He says that from first until sevent gear bikes shifts no problem, but further does not go. Also i was wondering, why does this screw look so weird? I circled it.

I can see that the adjustment screws are not tightened right. Actually, they are far to loose. So that would be something to look at.
