I wouldn’t pay more than $600 for a bike like that, and only if it is in pristine condition.

Reasons why: This bike is over 13 years old and is equipped with one of the worst-shifting groupsets to come out from Shimano (10-speed 5700 105) which Shimano quickly replaced in 2013 with 11-speed 105 to fix the shifting issues.

If you want a 10-speed bike, look for one equipped with the newer Tiagra 4700 groupset, which uses the longer shift cable pull Shimano introduced with 11-speed to fix the shifting issues short-cable-pull 10-speed 105/Ultegra/Dura-Ace groupsets suffered from.

I got the aluminum one like this for 300$ I know this is carbon frame but it’s still old .
Mine was in pristine condition too .

I feel $750 is fair based on the age and that it’s carbon. But wouldn’t go over that personally.

If you look at the drivetrain, it looks like he dropped the chain a couple times. I would want to see what the inside of the bottom bracket area looks like behind the crank wonder why he didn’t take a picture from that side.
