  1. 100% the yellow!

Also, Specialized’s satin finishes tarnish really easily. I have a satin navy blue Diverge and it’ll never truly be clean again no matter how much I wash it. My gloss-finish Crux looks cleaner after a quick wipe with a rag.

    Satin colorways suck big time!
I Hate yellow. Pick an other colorway! Keep looking…

I love this yellow colorway, I’ve wanted once since they came out. I also really like the the purple/pink of the Comp.

If it were me, I’d go for the purple one and swap out the mechanical GRX for a Di2 GRX/XTR mullet when that finally comes out.

What are you going to build? I think this yellow bike would give you a lot of opportunity to splash some cool colors in for sure. Hot purple, green, or orange would all look awesome on this. The bike would also look awesome with some high-polish finishing kit, like the classic Thomson stem/seat post from years past.

Matte is impractical and monochrome is a bit boring. Just don’t put tanwalls on a neon yellow frame unless you’re colorblind.

  5. Yellow is dope. Not a huge fan of those faded silver accents but that yellow pops nicely.

Never been a fan of black bikes since they tend to blend in while on the road. Imo you gotta give yourself that extra chance of being seen.

I have the matte black. Looks cool , is a bitch to keep clean. Dirt practically embeds itself in the paint.

I’d do the grey, er, matte black and swap the bar tape to the same yellow as the first one.

Didn’t think they sold the black as frame only. Been debating myself on whether to get the comp and do parts swaps (mix of new and from old bike) or full custom from frame up…

  9. I’ve noticed the colors online are very underwhelming…if at all possible, I’d drop in to a LBS that has one. Most I’ve found look much, much better in person.

I’ve got a ’22 matte black with 6K miles. Absolutely love the bike and would buy it again in a heartbeat.

That being said, the right side of the top tube has gotten shiny, I think due to my leg rubbing during lots of track stands at lights. If I had to do it over again I’d find a coating (maybe wax) to keep the matte finish in better shape.

Can’t go wrong with either option!

I have the yellow, looks much better in person and with a wheel set. I’d reply with a pic but I don’t think this sub allows it

Black is so overdone. Too many black bikes already. Yellow is interesting!
