im mainly just looking for a trail style mtb with around like 10 speed, around 140mm trail and under 2000 aud which is basically 1.2 usd. i want the best in this category in terms of value for money, hardtail or fully. thanks in advance. if u have any better ones pls tell me thx

Rocky Mountain Growler should be on your list. Spend up for the 40. Can find it on sale pretty easy
The rosco is a great pick, only one of the ones on your list iv personally road and was great to ride.
You can get a Canyon neuron 5 at the moment for 2019 and their site. nice bike.
You can get a giant Stance 2 for just under 2k at the moment, but more XC bike, but would work great for most trails
Besides that you cant rlly go wrong with a rosco, great bike, but dually is a bonus if you want.
Dont buy anything from 99 bikes.
Merida do make decent bikes though, just buy through a reputable shop, theyll match 99s price.
Roscoe is a nice bike
Polygon has great bikes!
