  1. It seems good to me. Is there any resistance when you turn your handle bar to both sides? If no it is good if yes it should be longer. But I noticed you have quite a big chimney in the front.
Edit if you cut fork to right size it will make cables maybe a bit loose.

They still seems too long. But if it’s like you said then it’s fine.
Maybe use some cableholders. Jagwire includes them in their sets f.e.

Really curious what others have to say.

I prefer crossing the cables so the housing wraps around the head tube. That way you get a nicer bend, and the housing is less likely to run on the head tube. I think people call on the ‘California cross’ or something like that.

Lengths look generally good but I would reroute to minimize the number of overlaps. The overlaps make it look more messy.

On the first image, you can reduce the length of the upper housing that goes to the right side of the frame. This way you don’t have those cables crossing each other twice.

Another trick you can do is run the cables from the left shifter to the right side of the frame, and right shifter cables to the left side of the frame. Depending on how the routing is on the frame, you might be able to cross housing on the downtube etc to clean up the front end. This way you only have one big “x” cross. Your frame might not let you do this however.

Left side cables are taped lower on the handlebar than the right. You will feel this after you wrap the bars and it will be annoying.

Try to make the cable exit tape (by the stem) equidistant on the left and right side.

  5. Almost looks like that stem won’t come off that massive steerer without dropping the fork out the bottom. It’s not an issue when being ridden, but for service or adjustments it may be kind of a PITA. The cables will be more appropriately sized if you decide to shorten that steerer some.

  6. Safety wise it looks fine, but aesthetically it looks bad. Route the cables from the right side brifter to the left side of the frame, and vice versa.
