hey, i just switched from the standard saddle to one with carbon rails. On the Adapter which clamps the saddle rails it says 15nm. That just sounds a lot for carbon rails? But i also did not find any information on the Fizik website on what torque they recommend.
Bike is a Canyon Aeroad CF SL DIsc (2022) and Saddle is a Fizik Argo Vento (Carbon rails).
The Adapter is this one: Canyon GP0224-01 Aeroad Adapter
Maybe someone has a similar combination or just knows it 🙂

I just did the swap over to my 3d printed carbon rail saddle, and swapped the adapter to the oval version. I torqued it to what it states on the adapter (15nm). I did one ride so far and it didn’t snap off so I hope that’s right 😅
Go with the specs from canyon. The load is spread on a wide surface and you need that torque for the cone piece to sit properly in its counterpart. A friend weights something about 110 kg and he rides an aeroad cfr with a selle Italia kit carbonio saddle and I’ve torqued it to spec without any issue.
