These do not pop up often, and as my main build is a 1995 Pine Mountain, I grabbed it (after showing it to my daughter and getting the quote in the title). Like me, she got a gold chain, gold pulley wheel and recovered saddle in fake suede. XT V-brakes and Koolstops were on my build before, as was the blue handlebar. Of course my daughter insisted to get everything possible in pink so when I saw those Kenda Krackpots on someone’s kid bike here, we had to get them.
In the end it turned out to be MUCH to big for her still so she’ll be most of this season on her 16″ Early Rider Belter, which weighs like half as much anyway.
