I’ve been meaning to post this for a while now. I got this bike back in Nov/Dec 2022 and it’s been an absolute blast so far! I think I’ve rode my FS bike maybe twice since then.

The phone pics somehow hide the mud because its much dirtier in person. One day I’ll remember to install my fenders before going out…

  1. More of a mini review –

This bike is a beast. I pull this thing off the wall more than any other bike I own (FS/Gravel). It handles a nearby climb with ease, and the downhills just as easily.

Fezarri’s sizing calculator works really well and out the box this bike needed very little in the way of fit adjustments. I do have a somewhat big complaint though – this bike ran like absolute crap out the box. I’ve dealt with mail order bikes a few times and usually it’s just putting in the saddle, handlebars, and wheels and it’s good to ride. The Fezarri…. well the assembly was standard but it needed more of a set up. Luckily I enjoy working on bikes as much as I like riding them, but I understand not everyone will be as comfortable doing wrench work. Ultimately I had to adjust the derailleur and cable, as well as perform a brake bleed. There was a couple times I almost packed the thing up and sent it back, but in the end I’m glad I didn’t.

Aside from going tubeless (fatty strippers) this bike is stock and I don’t really feel like I need to do anything else to it to make it better. The geometry is fairly progressive for a fatbike and I have more confidence on this thing than I do on my FS.

  2. LOVE my Kings Peak! If I didnt have three other Fezzari’s I’d prob bust it out more during summer months!

I feel the same way about my kings peak, love it! I almost never take my full suspension out anymore, last time I did it just felt weird to me.

After putting a 120mm mastodon on it, it really feels like the perfect trail bike for me. It was very good with the stock carbon fork too.
