Stan’s No Tubes Dart – 10 miles away from home I ran over something that caused what could only be described as a punctured artery. Sealant everywhere. I pulled off the road and tried to get my it to seal enough to ride back home, but it was hopeless.

Holding my thumb over the hole I reached into my bag and decided to give this a try since I really didn’t feel like walking my bike home 10 miles. Nothing to lose, let’s see if it works.

Jammed that sucker in there and gave it a minute for the sealant to bleed into the plug, and viola! I was able to get back home and inflated back to normal with no leak at all. In fact, if I’d have had a shot with me to inflate I could have kept on going with my ride.

If you ride tubeless I highly recommend having this in your bag for the unexpected artery poker.

  1. It sucks honestly. I have it one of the end broke while trying to use it. When i manage to plug it after riding for a week and the road took the residue now is leaking sealant. I don’t know about the whole chemical reaction thing and i use stans sealant. I should have gotten worms.
