Since you're discussing Remco surviving another setback, I'm thinking back to Stage 4 of Itzulia Basque Country last (2024) year… does anyone, especially My MAN Chris Horner, know which teams are skipping or supporting that event this year (2025)?
A straight answer would be cool ~ a peppy video would be even cooler? If my team had suffered on that Stage 4,I'd think about finding another event.
Remco is the only rider who could beat Pogacar in a 1 day race ! Not MVDP, Wout, Vingegaard …. I will tell you why
Remco's carriere had to much halted in his progress, the fall in that ravine cost him more than a year te recover, and all the rest of his chraches.
He is just like Pogacar a naturel born talent, only he had to much bad luck , and every time had to recover and had to start again from 0 .
He never had the chanse to grow to his maximum because of the manny hold ups, 2 times he had to start learning just to walk again.
And even he managed to win the vuelta, several times world champion TT, DOUBLE olympic golden medals…….When he was 23 he alreddy had 60 prof victories even with races where pogacar was a contender. He is the only one who can say he won all ALL and every race in his youth cath.
Without to much bad luck remco will be the only men in the peleton who can beat pogacar.
before the tour started he said, " I'm not going to france to win it, just going to learn the athmosphere of the tour. And he ended 3 place

Do you think Victor will have as much freedom to get in the break with Visma as he did with Lotto? I think he will have to be more duties for the team leader(s) so his attacking will be minimal.

It would be great to see Egan Bernal take The Basque Country this year. I’d also like to see Wout Van Aert win at Omloop Het Nieuwsblad. Both those riders have had more than their share of bad luck recently.

If Egan continues to show dramatic improvement upon early winter form at the Basque Country doesn’t Ineos have to rethink the Giro. Or does a stronger chance to show well at the Giro trump any dark horse stuff at the Tour.

Cris, I’m honestly surprised you recovered from your accidents so quickly. As I remember, you had a very intimate relationship with pavement!
It's funny that you and others put the second they lose with is the same as the time the bike changes on the route.
Don't you think they calculated it? The weight of the bike, the watts you can drive, the weight of the rider, the length of the climb, the max climb percentage and the average climb percentage.
I watch all your videos and they are always of high quality. Although I may disagree on some things, that's the way it should be. Keep up the good work.👍🏻😁

Do you still remember that saying: If you want to look smart, hang out with the stupid…if you want to look skinny, hand out with the fat…if you want to look tall, hang out with midgets…if you want to be fast, hang out with the slow… Now to get to my point…if you want to be the no.1 in your team, go to a smaller and less professional team…if you want to win more races, go to smaller races where there is no Pogi, Jonas, Remco, Primož, MVP, Van Aert… I think ya all know what I'm talking about…Pidcock and company…he he…🤣
