Hello beautiful people, I got this GT timberline FS I’m trying to build up, and I want to go with a rigid fork. It comes with these Rock Shox that are probably as good as dead.
What are some great rigid fork recs? ($60-100)
Or could I use some other Gt forks if they match the length? (Or turn the Shoxs rigid?)
Thanks! Any other info or feedback are more than welcome, I’m not sure which year but I’m leaning 96/97.

A bit pricey but Magic Components makes an ATB fork. Pretty rad actually.

Hey I’ve got the same bike, luckily I had this fork from another build.
Search Airwolf carbon forks on ebay.
I’m partial to Tange Switchblades any day of the week, but if I were you I’d just see what your local bike coop has — I saw a decent Switchblade at mine for like $150 when the cheapest, rattiest ones are like $250+ on eBay
Carver 100%. It’s a great fork, and I’ve used in on a GT before. It works well on it.
