Wheel magnet for a speedometer.
Is it 2 or 3 cm long? Is it magnetic?
It may be the magnet for a speedometer. It would be clipped to the spokes and trigger a Hall effect sensor as it goes by.
Looks like a left hand descruntillation lever to me.. have you checked inside your gronswald collection orifice to see if the scrunion valves are still turning?
That’s a Schvector valve all day long.
It looks a lot like the connecting pieces between the fenders and the braces that hold them.
Sort of looks like a little swing arm on the back of my Ortlieb panniers that is swung around the bottom of rack for stability.
But I am sure some other guess is better and more educated than mine.
There is skid marks going one way so for sure it was on the wheel but no clue for what….. I see no magnets or holes that seem to be holding anything inside so confused.
In German we call this “Strebenclip” but I have no clue how it is called in English.
Those look way too big, from the side, to be spoke magnets. Even for old ones. And they weren’t a thing until the late 90s for bicycle speed sensors with magnets.. Even the older ones look similar to modern ones.
