The problem here is the derailleur hanger had broken off the bike along with 2 rivets. My thought process for fixing this would be:
- remove the broken rivet
- sand down the left over adhesive
- re-glue and re-rivet the hanger
I'm not sure what adhesive to use to make this work again and wether re-riveting would be possible. Thanks in advance.

You can do either, depends on your needs and budget
If it’s a road bike that has some serious miles and that you use a ton I would recommend you just fix it, but if it’s a commuter than I wouldn’t bother with 2x unless you know for a fact you need those gears
