Horizontal dropouts with some adjustment left is the answer. If you had used all the adjustment and it was still loose I would have said take a link out of the chain but you have a good amount of play there before thats the option.

Do not make the mistake of putting too much tension on the chain. A little “track slack” is totally fine.
If you tighten the chain too much, you will have increased friction with all that comes with it: noise, power loss, increased wear of your drivetrain.
