  1. Sub 20 usually means titanium lol. Last time I had a bike at 18.75lbs with a full gyro and it had ti spokes, a ti spindle, and ti bolts everywhere they could be haha

Get an eastern grim reaper ti 🤣 with some triple butted titanium spokes odyssey 7k wheels with profile hubs Eastern Ti bars with an S&M XLT pitchforks primo aluminum cranks with KHE park tires ultra lite tubes titanium 9t driver odyssey v3 stem and ti bolts for everything else and ti nipples with a kmc 710SL and ODI longnecks. Shit was 17.3lbs when i did the math back around 2010.

  4. Don’t bother, we went through this phase in the early 2000’s. What happens is minor crashes stuff bends or worse. Heavy landing same. Outdoor riding… if there’s a modicum of a breeze your bike gets taken off course on jumps and airs it’s like wind shear for bikes!
    The super lightweight phase always pops up every decade, it’s been done and there’s a reason why useable bmx weight isn’t sub 20lbs!

  5. I remember when I was young all the kids were drilling 10mm holes in there frame forks and bars pretty crazy now I think about it haha I remember this kids frame looked like a helicopter from ww2

  6. Back in the mid 2000’s my buddy built a bike with all the lightest parts available at the time. The thing had titanium spokes in the wheels. All kinds of crazy shit. It weighed 17lbs.
