    Looks like a Specialized Sequoia from the mid 2000’s equipped with 5500-generation 9-speed 105 groupset.

    It’s a decent beginner’s bike. The drivetrain might be a bit worn though. Saving grace is 9-speed HG consumables like cassettes and chains are not expensive.

  2. 200 max if levers and derailers work

    Those alex rims are near end of life. Wouldn’t surprise me if the rear hub snaps under a year of riding

    Check F & R derailers
    Levers (shift)
    Chain
    Spin the wheel to make sure it’s true (these are known for throwing spokes)
