  1. Wow. Did a car back into it ?

You can probably salvage most components, but yeah that frame is unrecoverable.

  2. If that’s a steel frame, and there’s no crease in the dented area, and this is just a city beater, then I’d try to straighten in back up a bit. But that’s just me.

  3. it’s probably better than it looks because the angle of the wheel is also crooked due to the bent frame

if you’re only going to use it to go around the city, you could try bend it back
since it’s a disk brake bike i bet you won’t have many issues, and it’s not going to break in two for crossing a pothole

but it could be also an opportunity to upgrade to a better/ lighter frame if you decide not to fix it or is not possible to do it,

Frame is a goner. Sorry. A new frame and transferring all the parts over would most likely cost more than a new bike unless you are able to do the labor yourself.

  5. Just remove all the components, strip the paint, melt it back down into blocks of aluminum, then reform tubes, weld them together, paint, and then thread the bb/frame mounts, face the bb/headset/brake mount, and then repaint. No problem

Keep the frame and mount it to your wall as a decoration. It would go great in a bar or man cave.

  7. Is that the only damaged part? Perhaps you can get a new/used frame for cheap and transfer most/all parts over

  8. Well the good news is, remember that bike you wanted to buy after this one gave up? Now you can get your new bike! Or, at least a new frame! Good luck!

  9. Congratulations you just found an excuse to buy a new bike

That’s not just toast it’s gourmet toast served in a high end restaurant.

  10. If you are the original owner, you might be able to get a crash replacement frame. Contact your dealer.
