This looks about perfect to me. With a relatively short a derailleur cage, I’d be worried about the smallest cog if you added a link.

that whole setup looks *tight*! like someone else said, check the slack on the small just to make sure you’ve got enough takeup. what’s the wrap on the deraileur? if you have headroom, i’d add the 2 links to make sure it shifts onto that pizza crisper.

It’s around the big cog and around the chainring plus 4 links counting the quick link for future reference for SRAM 1x systems. 2x is plus 2 links. All not through the derailleur when measuring.
