I'm considering one of the two bikes in the Trapez (mid-step) version:
- Canyon Roadlite 5 (2022)
- Cube Nulane One (2025)
l'd like to hear some thoughts on either of these as well as suggestions.
Similarities that are a prerequisite for me:
-Price: 800-850€
-Weight: 10.3kg
-Carbon fork
-Hydraulic breaks
-one-by system
Canyon Negatives:
-only peach color option (as of 02.25) -old style quick release axle -older model (vs Cube 2025)
Cube Negatives:
-only 9 vs 11 gears
-Shimano Cues (vs Deore)
-Tektro brakes vs Shimano (entry level)
Based on these observations, they are very similar bikes. Am I missing something?
Other options I considered are: Canyon Commuter 5 (2021) and Giant Fastroad (2024).

Tell us a little more about your riding style, where your gonna go what type of riding how long etc
Marin DSX. FWIW, as a mechanic, I recommend Tektro over shimano.
