In 2020 in Belgium a father and his 6 year old were walking in the snow. A cyclist comes by and passes them.
As he passes he puts out his knee so the kid falls.
He claims that he lost balance and put out his knee to regain his balance. What do you guys think?
He gave his version of events in court on Wednesday. “When I arrived at a section where there were many pedestrians, I braked, adjusted my speed and used my 120 decibel bicycle bell,” he said. The man also assured the judge that there was enough room to pass the girl on the right. If only he hadn’t slipped on the snowy path.

“When I was driving near the girl, I felt my rear wheel slipping,” he continued. “To avoid a fall, I regained balance with a movement of the knee. I felt that I hit the girl but did not immediately realize that she had fallen.”

According to the public prosecutor, that story is not correct. He is convinced that the cyclist deliberately kneed the girl. “He was irritated by the crowds on the course he was following and that he had to divert so often. He kneed the child out of sheer annoyance because an obstacle came in his way for the umpteenth time.”
