Been eyeing a Domane Al 2 Gen 4 as my first road bike. Came across this in my size and wondering if it’d be worthwhile to save a few bucks and go with this used Domane Al 2 (not sure the Gen)?
Also, please lmk if there are major differences between this and the Domane Al 2 Gen 4 model?

These go on clearance sometimes in my LBS for ~780$. + Tax. If this is truly a new bike, I think the value is fair/good. It’s a great starter/intermediate bike IMO and I’m very happy wtih mine. Price for used ones (1-5YO) can range from 450-800$ in the Bay Area. I just nabbed a 2023 for 450$.
I have this bike, I would go with the disc brakes,
The rim brakes on my AL2 were the first thing I upgraded , wish I had disc
