Read the Sheldon Brown article on wheelbuilding after building a wheel for my ebike and now I'm worried the spokes are bending too much coming out if the nipple. Is it likely for this to be a problem? 244mm spokes on a 26 inch wheel, 3X pattern, steel spokes and nipples. I hope I don't have to buy other spokes for a 2X or 1X pattern, they're expensive!

That doesn’t look like any 3 cross wheel I have seen. I think it’s laced wrong. Do you have a picture of the whole wheel?

I would not feel safe riding on that personally, but I can’t speak on whether it’s actually dangerous

I’m no pro but I think this is happening because the hub flange is such a large diameter. I think 4 cross is generally not used because this happens. Is this a hub drive e bike?
