Chameleon 3 SS Build (almost) complete!

Just (almost) finished my chameleon 3 SS build!

Parts:

• Santa Cruz Chameleon 3 (03-07) frame

• FARR handlebars & 70mm stem

• SantaCruz house Grips

• Exotic Carbon Fork 29 (suspension corrected for 130mm w/26” wheels)

• Maxxis 26” DTH 2.3

• SunRingle Inferno 29 laced to Shimano XT hubs w/ dt Swiss double butted

• Raceface turbine crank set w/ 34t chainring (parts bin)

• 10 speed xt derailleur as tensioner (might ditch and switch from QR to axle if I can make sure the rotor lines up alright)

• TRP Spyre mechanical disk brakes

• Knock-Off UltraLevers3 (might not keep these, but they look doap AF)

• Brooks C17 (temporary from parts bin)

• Gusset 450mm seatpost

Frame’s a little small for me, but it’s pretty enough that I’ll deal with it. It’s also geared a little high for the hilly area around here (34/16t), so I’m probably going to swap out the 16t for a 20t and I think it’ll be good.

But, she rides great and is so pretty.
