I’m planning to buy an ebike so that i can commute to my work and back.
I live in england and the drive will mainly be on a country road, about 14 kilometers there and back. I have done some research and I can not decide between the two bikes.
I am not very knowledgeble in terms of ebikes thats why im here. I have cycled all my life on regular mountain bikes and its time for an upgrade.

The carrera is about £970 vs £950 for the rockrider, so not a big price difference. However i am leaning more towards the rockrider for the nice look, however as ive mentioned im not very knowledgeble in terms of ebike specifications. Is there much difference between the two? Any assistenace/suggestions highly appreciated. Thanks!

It’s seems like both are comparable, they are both relatively the same in terms of drivetrain (watts on the motor) and the battery on the rockrider seems bigger on the comparison chart, I would look for other things like ability mount a rack or a basket and depending on your situation how easy is to take out the battery to charge or to store. I would also pick the rockrider in your position but then again the difference between the two is minimal.
