I like this because it’s unique and out of the norm from the mainstream right now.

Don’t see why you wouldn’t want drop bars, bottle cages, and clipless pedals. Tire selection would depend on course but might be overkill.
The curve of that top tube bag had me thinking this was a beach cruiser for a quick sec.
Wax your chain ( properly! ) before the event and then bring a mini bottle of Squirt wax incase you get horrible mud or rain during the event.

That saddle angle is a crime.
Flat bars with that much sweep look uncomfortable for long distances, but if it works for you that is all that matters.
