BB90 is one of the worst piece of crap bottom bracket formats ever invented. Bearings are pressed directly in the bb shell, so what happens is that if the BB shell is not absolutely perfectly round, either the outer bearing race is deformed, and thus bearings are rough and don’t last long, or the bb shell has to yield, and after a few replacements it becomes loose, causing creaks and misalignment in the bearings and axle. There’s a reason why it’s so cheap.
