We stayed at the Premier Inn in both Stratford (a few mins from the Lee Valley Velo Park) and Tower Bridge. Great service, comfortable clean rooms as as we mentioned they don’t nmind your bikes being taken to your room. @premierinn

It’s like the GWR trains designed their luggage storage for the Brompton,,, I travel a lot on the train with mine… so lush…. However whilst I have been to Covent store with my Brompton am not so sure I would have the confidence to ride in London. I use the Tube 🙈😊. Thank you so much for the video
Another great video, Paul. I’ve never ridden my Brompton in London. Always felt a bit intimidated by it and a bit “provincial” but you made it look completely doable. More Brompton videos please!

Enjoyed that and it was a good way to go to your trade show. I have never cycled in London but have in Glasgow including the underground and have used mine extensively on trains, buses and ships. Take your point entirely about illegal e'bikes and actually feel quite strongly about renaming them. Legal e'bikes are a great idea ( not for me yet) and I regularly see people still being able to enjoy cycling which is great. However, illegal e'bikes are not bikes they are mopeds and to me the bad publicity they generate reflects on legal e'bikes and cyclists in general. I would like to see the illegal ones being renamed as e'mopeds or e'motorbikes and I think this would really help. The industry and insurance companies could drive this. I have seen people on forums question why the police are targeting these illegal 'e'mopeds as they don't know the difference. Same with parents buying an e'bike for their kids only to have them injured (or worse) and having the thing confiscated by the police. Rant over 😊
Great video. I have found when travelling by train, once the bike is folded and in the luggage space if you extend the saddle so it makes contact with the shelf above it stops my Brompton falling over if the train jolts.
I don't think it would hurt to tilt the bars towards you a bit, that posture looks really unhealthy!
Its a lot better than the old days…in certain areas
Last time I had to go to London I had to get across it to get different trains, and I chose to take my Brompton with me instead of using public transportation, I spent most of it in traffic on roads, but the little things like traffic lights giving bikes a head start made it really pleasant, right up until my front wheel swallowed a loose cable someone left dangling and destroyed my front mud guard, thankfully I was able to get my bike to the Brompton shop and they got it off so I could cycle again.
