  1. Make it tighter. The band is meant to stretch so that it doesn’t slip. You might want to add some tape on the bars to slightly increase the width so that it fits properly and has more grip against the mount.

    Small rant, but I personally don’t like that so many things use this method of attaching to the bars. Bars are pretty standardized at this point and only have a couple different widths for the most part. Include some plastic/rubber spacers and most handlebar accessories could easily accomodate almost every handlebar width.

    I’ve always found the elastic ones seem to either be too loose or you have to put what seems like more tightness than ncessary such that the elastic or mount will break over time. I’ve switch everything over to hard plastic/metal mounts that are actually designed to clamp around the bar and hold securely. It costs a little more and it’s sometimes hard to find accessories with good mounts, but they work so much better.

  2. Under that plate where your thumb is, there is a screw that you can tighten. Pry that plate off first. If you can’t, just line it up straight and put in a drop of superglue 👍
