That carbon area, like some others, is reinforced quite well. I doubt it is permanently damaged, but to be sure, you can check at the local bike shop. On my previous bike, that area was completely destroyed, but in the end, the drivetrain and other components failed before the frame.

Looks like the chain cut into the resin above the carbon fibers at the very least. I haven’t had any damage on road bike, but on my MTB there is about 0.5 mm of resin on top of the fibers. Even if you cut one or two fiber tows, the structural integrity is still good. However, cover it up with some lacquer. You do not want water to get in there. That will over time result in delaminating. If you are really concerned about it, contact a carbon frame repair shop.

As the bike is damaged, Canyon not too likely to accept a return looks like you dropped the chain on a missed shift. You can contact Canyon about a warranty but there are downsides to that, or so I hear. Looks like a no issue to me, but drop Canyon an email and see what they say.
