Only one rider Pogacar's size (5'9, 145) ever won Paris- Roubaix: Hinault. It's harder than Flanders for a small rider. Flat, on treacherous pavement. Merckx: 11 Tours and 27 Monuments.

Personally I think pogačar will leave Paris rubaix till later in his career, he will want to cover all the other races first, then train to be more of a sprinter later on,JMO

Hey Phil & TJ, Thanks for a great video & insights! I've listened to you Phil since forever and TJ I watched and wanted you to win so much! RE: Tadej – I think we've all fallen in love with his enthusiasm (& ability) for racing, it's infectious! I love a guy who says 'yeah, I'll try it..' rather than the froome/vingegaard/tour mentality of the world, and whilst the odds are against him for roubaix (weight), surely his enthusiasm, and potentially intimidating presence might work? But if I were a guessing man I think MVDP (9kg heavier) would beat him – he's a beast when it comes to the toughest of days in the north! cheers, M

I would be surprised to hear that Stephen Roche has returned to Majorca given he was convicted of negligently bankrupting his Majorcean company and owns 500,000 euros. Maybe he’s paid his debts but I doubt it.
