Something like this happened in my kids XC MTB race this past year. Fork in the road, someone who thought they had a clue parked his pickup truck in the way of the correct way to go. 3 leading kids come up and he yells at them to go the wrong way, so they do. Race director kept saying "unfortunately some kids got lost despite the course being marked". Which made me so mad. No man, they knew it was the wrong way! lol
LMFAOOO! What in the fuck?! LOLL! WHAT IS HAPPENING?! My take has always been you close off the roundabouts that lead to alternate roads, with soft barriers and guards, in case anyone is mistaken. You don't just have some guy waving you put peope in vests blocking the road so they know not to go through and if they do well they're dumb.

I don’t bike but just a thought; after the last rider comes through on the penultimate lap, close off the section with orange cones and arrows. Problem solved…. Can’t believe they were so careless. Riders biking their hearts out for over four hours just to have it canceled. For shame.
