Deviation police need calling in
The onus is on the rider to ride the course, Ganna had read the course book so followed the correct route, he should have clearly been declared the winner, any other result is a travisty of justice.
Cannot punish Ganna for organisers mistakes. Treat peloton like a crash within 3km. Give them
same times as bunch that finished.

Undoubtedly it should be Ganna's victory. Each and every rider has a personal responsibility to know the parcours and where they should be riding. Strictly those going the wrong way should all be DNFed, but I guess that's not great for the organisers. At the very least Ganna's victory should still stand, perhaps with an asterisk. The organisers should be sanctioned for their incompetence
Two wrongs do not make a right. Those that decided to cancel the stage should be thrown out of the sport. Ganna should have been given the win, and the others given the same time.

Let them wear their GC/KOM/Sprinters/Young rider jersey for the next stage even if the stage results are neutralized.

Disgraceful. Ganna rode the course and finished first. Others chose to go the wrong way. The result should stand.
I was in the crowd – it was very dangerous and a miracle no one was injured as the peloton suddenly appeared inches behind the spectators, totally oblivious to what was happening, were facing into where the riders should have been!!

What justification do the organizers have to cancel the stage? Why not the obvious answer that normal people would do
I think:
A) top 10 remains the same, with vicotry for Ganna
B) all riders with the same time
C) no bonifications, and no sprint points in final
D) bonifications, sprint points and mountain Poins in the middle of the stage

This is amazing…. At pro level. Some organisations deserve to be stripped from hosting a race! I’m sorry, the finish should have been double checked, you have plenty time before arrivals.
Pathetic decision yet again, Ganna prepared properly, rode properly, followed the rules properly and won the stage properly, then was disqualified in reality by inept management, an outrageous decision.
Maybe diverting all but the top 20 in the last 500m would be generally safer?

Cancelling the stage after the event is ridiculous. Give Ganna the win, the bonus seconds to 2nd and 3rd, and then the same time to the peloton.

That roundabout was very poorly signalized. Completely open lane with no indications but a single police officer trying to wave to the peolotton. This is on the organization and circuit prep. Riders shouldnt be punished for something so poorly designed and this is why they cancelled the stage.
