A bit of context… I’m planning to change my 12 speed T-Line to a 5 speed cassette using an SRAM shifter – I therefore need a hub gear shifter for the LEFT hand side of the bars
I’ve seen the various Sturmey options but ideally wanted
a. something indexed
b. up/down on separate levers
c. fits “elegantly” with Extralite Ultra Levers or similar
TIA

Haven’t tried that, but any mtb flat bar shifter will work, I run my three speed from a 25th anniversary 9speed x-0 left hand (triple) shifter
The only issue is finding one that meshes well
With everything else, I run long grips so hve but the shifter on the upright, but it’ll depend massively on your bar setup

This isn’t a ti parts part it’s a knock off/ rebranded DT Swiss fork lockout switch. For forks it works great I’m not however a massive fan of the orientation though for regular gear changes.
